What to expect
A home race is the easiest big race you will ever do. No travel, your own bed, your own breakfast and familiar roads. That is exactly why it is a good first event for a lot of Pune runners.
Expect an early start, a crowd at the start line and roads that are closed to traffic for a few hours. Get there earlier than you think you need to.
Course notes
We have not listed the route or distances yet because we only publish what we have checked. Once the organisers share the route map, we will add notes here on the climbs, the turns and where the water stations sit.
Who it suits
Anyone in Pune who wants a real race morning without the stress of travel. If you are new, pick the shortest distance on offer, go with a friend and treat it as a celebration rather than a test.
